Most day yacht rentals in Miami are booked as:

• 4 hours (half day) — quick sandbar or cruise, great for tight schedules
• 5–6 hours — our most popular; gives time for sandbar, photos and a relaxed cruise

Most private yachts in Miami are limited to up to 12 guests max while underway, regardless of yacht size, due to U.S. Coast Guard rules.

Some smaller yachts or boats may have a lower maximum (8–10 guests) based on their license and layout. For 13–40+ guests, we use USCG-inspected party boats and passenger vessels that are specially licensed for larger events.

On most private yachts, no more than 12 passengers can be on board while the yacht is underway, not including captain and crew. This is a federal safety rule for non-inspected passenger vessels.

If you have 13 or more people, we’ll recommend USCG-inspected vessels or a multi-yacht raft-up so your group stays legal, safe and comfortable.

Each yacht is a little different, but most day charters include:

For safety, swimming is generally limited to daylight hours while the captain is on active watch and local conditions are safe.

Most yachts are BYOB-friendly for food and drinks. You can bring snacks, catering trays, beer, wine and standard spirits, as long as everyone is 21+ to drink and consumption stays responsible.

Many yachts provide coolers, ice and plastic cups. Some have rules about no red wine, glitter, confetti or glass on deck to protect the yacht.

If you don’t want to plan food and drinks yourself, we can add catering, a private chef or bar service packages so it’s all ready when you board.

Yes. For safety and compliance, your yacht will be operated by a licensed captain, with crew or steward(ess) as required by the size and service level of the yacht.

On some yachts, the charter is structured as a bareboat rental with separate crew you choose from an approved list, but we make this very clear in your quote so you know who you’re paying and how much. Either way, you are never driving the yacht yourself.

Yes. Families and children are welcome on many yachts, and every child (including infants) counts toward the guest capacity.

We recommend:

• Letting us know the ages of any kids in advance
• Bringing child-sized life jackets if you have them (some yachts have a limited number on board)
• Choosing calmer routes and earlier time slots for younger children

Your captain will go over safety rules for kids before departure.

Light rain or passing clouds usually do not cancel a charter, especially when there is safe visibility and calm bay conditions.

If the captain or marina determines that conditions are unsafe (strong storms, high winds, lightning or marine advisories), we will follow your contract’s weather policy which may include delaying the start time, adjusting the route, offering a date change or issuing a credit or refund according to the terms agreed.

Cancellation terms vary by yacht and date. Your exact policy is always shown before you pay.

Many yachts offer full or partial refunds when you cancel within the listed timeline, and reschedule or credit options if you are inside that window or if weather makes the trip unsafe.

We will send your confirmed policy in writing so there are no surprises.

We suggest packing light. Good basics include:

• Swimwear, cover-ups and a change of clothes
• Reef-safe sunscreen (lotion preferred over spray), sunglasses and hat
• ID and the card used for payment if requested by the captain
• Phone chargers, small speaker if you want to plug in, and any playlists
• Any specific snacks, desserts or decorations allowed by your yacht

Most yachts are barefoot or flat-shoe only. Heels and black-soled shoes are not allowed on many decks.

For Saturdays, holidays and peak season, we recommend booking 3–6 weeks in advance for the best yacht selection and time slots.

Weekdays and some Sundays can be available closer in, sometimes inside 7 days, but popular yachts and sunset slots sell out fast. If your date is fixed, reserve early and ask us about weekday specials or extended-hour packages.
