Your price depends on yacht size, year, layout, season, day of week, time slot and trip length. Newer yachts, prime Saturdays and sunset slots usually sit higher. Weekdays, earlier daytime departures and slightly smaller boats are where the best values live.

Every quote from Feeling Yachty is All Fees Included, so you see the real total up front for the yacht, captain/crew, fuel, tax and standard dock/cleaning fees. Only tip is separate.

Our goal is no bad surprises at the dock. “All Fees Included” means your quote already includes:

To reserve a yacht we take a booking deposit. The amount depends on the yacht, date and charter type. Your confirmation clearly shows:

• Deposit paid today
• Remaining balance and due date
• Whether a refundable security hold is required for that yacht

We accept major cards and bank transfers. Some trips may also offer installment-style payment options through third-party providers, subject to approval. Everything is spelled out in your digital charter agreement before you sign.

• Preferred start time and number of hours
• Pickup area, such as Miami Beach, Brickell or Haulover
• Guest count, including anyone under 21 or under 12

For most Miami charters we require:

• A valid government-issued photo ID for the primary renter

If you’re celebrating with lots of guests under 21, or minors without parents present, mention that early so we can confirm the right paperwork and rules for your yacht.

Sometimes, yes. Changes depend on yacht availability and the terms in your confirmation:

• Small shifts in start time or guest count are often possible if you tell us early.
• Moving to a different date or holiday may count as a reschedule and follow that yacht’s policy.
• If your headcount goes past the yacht’s legal limit, we may need to upgrade the vessel or add a second yacht.

Tell us as soon as something changes so we have the best chance of adjusting without penalties.

The vast majority of our Miami trips are run by professional, licensed captains and crew. That keeps everyone safer and lets you enjoy the day instead of worrying about navigation, weather and regulations.

On certain bareboat-style setups, you technically rent the yacht and then select a captain from an approved roster — but you still aren’t the one driving. We explain clearly whether your yacht is captain-included or bareboat with approved captains before you book.

Before you leave the dock, your captain or crew will quickly cover:

Yachts carry USCG-required safety gear sized for your group, including kids if you’ve given ages in advance.

It comes down to maritime regulations and safety. Many private charter yachts are inspected and insured for a maximum of 12 or 13 passengers plus crew. Going over that limit can break the terms of the yacht’s license and insurance.

For bigger groups we move into USCG-inspected passenger yachts or multi-yacht flotillas. If you’re even close to 13 guests, mention it early so we can recommend the correct type of vessel from the start.

We’ll make sure USCG-approved life jackets are set aside for them. Children must follow the captain’s rules about when life jackets are required, and we recommend extra supervision on steps, ladders and the swim platform.

• Always follow the captain’s rules on alcohol and volume

Boarding depends on the yacht you choose. Popular pickup areas include Miami Beach, Downtown/Brickell, North Bay Village and Haulover. Your confirmation will show:

• Exact marina name and dock
• Parking tips or rideshare drop-off point
• Any gate or concierge instructions

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in, ice, last-minute questions and boarding. Charters start and end on schedule so you get your full time on the water.

Miami weather can change quickly. In general:

• Light rain or passing showers usually do not cancel a charter.
• If the captain or marina declares conditions unsafe, such as lightning, strong winds or small-craft advisories, we will reschedule or credit according to the yacht’s fair-weather policy.
• We’ll stay in touch as we get closer to your date so you’re not guessing.

Your exact weather terms are written in your confirmation for that specific yacht and season.

• Alcohol: Guests 21+ may drink responsibly unless a specific yacht says otherwise. Over-intoxication can shorten the trip if it affects safety.
• Smoking/vaping: Many yachts are non-smoking indoors. Some captains allow smoking or vaping only in designated outdoor areas.
• Illegal substances: Absolutely not permitted. Possession or use of illegal drugs can end the charter immediately with no refund and potential involvement of authorities.

If you have questions about a specific product or plan, ask us privately in advance so we can keep your charter safe and compliant.

We recommend bringing any motion-sickness remedies you prefer, and taking them in advance if you know you’re sensitive. In a true emergency, the captain follows safety and medical protocols first.
