This Privacy Policy describes how Feeling Yachty, operated under Cyber Locker Switzerland S.A., incorporated in the Republic of Panama (“we,” “our,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit www.feelingyachty.com (“the Site”).

1. Who We Are

Our website address is: https://feelingyachty.com. We operate as a concierge and lead service connecting users with independent yacht owners and service providers.

2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

3. Media

If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can download and extract any location data from images.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to enhance user experience. Examples include:

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.
  • If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
  • When you log in, cookies save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last two days; display option cookies last one year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
  • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. It contains no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on the Site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Payment information provided for bookings is processed by third-party payment processors or affiliated Payment Agents, and we do not store sensitive payment card details on our servers.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

For users that register (if applicable), we store personal information provided in user profiles. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except usernames). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on the Site or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including data you have provided. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold, except for data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

By providing contact details, you consent to receive communications regarding bookings, updates, promotions, or services. You can opt out of promotional communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

11. SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in to SMS updates, we may send appointment reminders, confirmations, promotions, or event notifications. Standard message/data rates apply. Users can opt out anytime by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or email us. SMS services are intended for U.S. users only and may not function internationally.

12. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration in Panama City, Panama, except for disputes solely relating to payment processing by a U.S.-based Payment Agent, which may, at our option, be subject to U.S. jurisdiction.
