Where do we wakeboard and what’s the typical route?
⌄
We depart from 2215 NW 14th St, Miami, FL 33125 on the Miami River and head toward protected Biscayne Bay zones suited for tow-sports.
Depending on weather, traffic and water conditions, your captain may:

• Offer a swim stop if time and conditions allow
The exact route is finalized day-of for comfort and safety.

The Yamaha 255XD wake boat is licensed for up to 8 guests total (including riders and spectators).
For safety, we typically tow:
• One wakeboarder at a time
• Up to two guests on a tube (when available and conditions permit)
You can rotate riders throughout the charter so everyone gets time behind the boat.
🎒

⌄
We recommend bringing:
• Swimsuit, towel & change of dry clothes
• Reef-safe sunscreen (no spray if possible)
• Sunglasses with a strap & hat

Pack in soft bags to save space on board.
🥂
Can we bring our own drinks or alcohol on the boat?
⌄
Yes, most wake charters are BYOB-friendly for guests 21+. Please avoid glass bottles where possible and drink responsibly — the captain is in charge of safety and may limit alcohol if needed.
Riders should not wakeboard under the influence. You can always ride early in the trip and relax with drinks afterward.
⛅
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my wakeboarding trip?
⌄
Your captain continuously monitors wind, rain and lightning. If conditions are unsafe or clearly unsuitable for tow-sports, we’ll work with you to reschedule or credit per our fair-weather policy.
Light rain or passing clouds often still allow for a great session; severe storms, high winds or lightning may require a delay, route change, or postponement.
❤️
Is wakeboarding physically demanding? Any age or fitness tips?
⌄
Wakeboarding is an active water sport that uses your legs, core, and grip strength. Many teens and adults with average fitness can enjoy beginner-level sets.
Children must fit properly in a USCG-approved life jacket, and a parent/guardian should be on board. If anyone in your group has health concerns, it’s best they ask their doctor before booking high-impact activities.
🔒
Is the wakeboarding boat a private charter or shared with other groups?
⌄
All Feeling Yachty wakeboarding trips are private charters. It’s just your group, your captain, and the Yamaha 255XD — no strangers on board.
This lets us customize the pace, music, and mix of riding vs cruising to match your vibe.

Before we start wakeboarding: • Florida law requires a non-inflatable USCG-approved life jacket on every rider. • We have an observer watching the rider or a wide-angle mirror for the driver. • We only ride in daylight and away from docks, swim zones, and markers. • If you fall, keep your board in front of you, raise a hand, and wait for us to idle back. • Use clear hand signals: thumb up = faster, thumb down = slower, hand across neck = stop. • No alcohol or drugs if you are driving or riding. Safety comes first.
