Built for the photo
Grad caps on the bow, skyline behind: the photographer add-on shoots it, or the crew takes phone duty. Decorations, a banner and balloons in school colours, come from the catalogue below and are set up before you board.
High school, college and grad school: who is aboard
Under-21 parties run dry by law and nobody blinks; the boat is the event. Mixed-age family charters are the norm: parents, grandparents and the graduate all fit the same deck. For a class-sized crowd beyond 13, raft up two boats through large group yacht charters in Miami.
What the day looks like
Two hours is the sweet spot for a graduation party: the skyline run out of the marina, a swim stop at Monument Island or the sandbar, and the ride back along South Beach for the photos. Three or four hours adds lunch at anchor and a second stop. The crew handles the boat, you bring your own music, and the cake comes out wherever the water is flattest.
When to book
May and June weekends book out around ceremony dates, so lock the date as soon as the ceremony is announced. Timing, BYO cake and the payment split work like every celebration on Miami yacht parties; the birthday version of the same day is on birthday yacht rentals in Miami.
What it costs
From $650 for three hours, and from $650 to $750 for three to four hours on boats under 40 ft, all-in for captain, crew and fuel. A parent-funded party for 13 lands near club-dinner money with a better backdrop, and the cards above show the exact figure for the date.
Graduation party questions
How much is a graduation yacht party?
From $650 all-in for three hours; from $50 each with a full boat.
Can guests under 21 come?
Yes. Minors are welcome with adults aboard; alcohol stays 21 and over, and all-ages parties simply run without it.
Can we bring cake and decorations?
Yes. Cake is welcome, and catalogue decorations are set up before you board.
What dates go first?
The two weekends around each school’s ceremony. Book when the date is announced.
